Baptism

Requirements:
Parents must be registered parishioners
Attend Baptism preparation class
Choose practicing Catholic godparents
Schedule meeting with parish priest
Baptisms are celebrated at least once per quarter
First Holy Communion
Children receive the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time after two years of preparation.
Requirements:
Must be at least 7 years old
Two years of religious education
First Reconciliation before Communion
Regular Mass attendance
First Communion is celebrated in May/June each year
Confirmation
Young adults receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit, completing their initiation into the Church.
Requirements:
Must be in 8th grade or older
Baptized and received First Communion
Two years of preparation
Choose a confirmed Catholic sponsor
The Bishop generally celebrates Confirmation between May & July
Matrimony
The sacred covenant between a man and woman, reflecting Christ’s love for His Church.
Requirements:
Contact parish at least 6 months in advance
Complete marriage preparation program
Provide baptismal certificates
Meet with priest multiple times
Weddings are scheduled by appointment with the pastor
Reconciliation
Experience God’s mercy and forgiveness through the Sacrament of Confession.
Requirements:
Examination of conscience
True contrition for sins
Firm purpose of amendment
Confession and penance
Confirm the schedule with the parish office
Anointing of the Sick
Healing grace for those who are seriously ill, facing surgery, or advanced in years.
Requirements:
